Terms of service

Last updated: 14 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy from keptandkin.com. Please read them before you order. They don't affect your legal rights as a consumer.

1. About us

Kept & Kin is a trading name of Cody Bannister, a sole trader in the UK.

  • Address: Bay B34, Unit 66 Queens Court Trading Estate, Greets Green Road, West Bromwich, West Midlands, B70 9EQ
  • Email: hello@keptandkin.com

We aren't VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to our prices.

2. Ordering

  • We only sell to customers aged 18 or over, and only deliver to UK addresses.
  • When you place an order, we email you to say we've received it. Our contract with you starts when we email to confirm your order is accepted, or when we start making it, whichever is first.
  • We may turn down an order, for example if the personalisation breaks the rules in section 4 or an item is no longer available. If we do, we'll tell you and refund anything you've paid.

3. Prices and payment

  • Prices are in pounds sterling and include free UK delivery. The price you pay is the one shown when you place your order.
  • Multi-buy offers (for example on baubles) and discount codes are applied in the basket or at checkout. Only one discount applies to an order unless we say otherwise, and offers can't be swapped for cash.
  • If we've made an obvious pricing mistake, we'll contact you before your order is made, and you can choose to pay the right price or cancel for a full refund.

4. Your personalisation

  • We print exactly what you enter, so please check spelling, capital letters and dates carefully before you order. We can make changes only before your item goes into production: contact us as soon as possible.
  • For the best result, upload clear, well-lit photos. A blurry or small photo will print blurry, and that isn't a fault.
  • You must have the right to use any photo or words you send us. Please don't send anything offensive or unlawful, or anything that uses someone else's brand, logo or characters (for example cartoon or film characters, or football club badges). We may refuse to print it.
  • The preview on our website is a guide. The finished item may differ slightly in position and colour, because screens show colours differently and every item is printed individually.

5. Making and delivery

  • Every item is printed to order in the UK. Making takes 1–2 working days and delivery usually another 2–3 working days. Estimated delivery dates are a guide, not a guarantee. See our Delivery & Christmas dates page.
  • Different products are printed in different UK workshops, so one order may arrive in more than one parcel.
  • If your order hasn't arrived within 7 working days of dispatch, please contact us and we'll look into it.
  • Your order is your responsibility once it's delivered to the address you gave us.

6. Cancelling and returns

  • Personalised items are made to your instructions, so the usual 14-day right to cancel doesn't apply to them (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 28). If you contact us before your item goes into production, we'll try to cancel it and refund you in full, but we can't promise to catch it in time.
  • E-gift cards can be cancelled within 14 days of buying for a full refund, as long as they haven't been used.
  • Full details are in our Refund policy.

7. Faulty, damaged or misprinted items

If something arrives faulty, damaged or misprinted, contact us as soon as you can with your order number and a photo. We'll replace it or give you a full refund. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

8. Gift cards

Gift cards can be spent on keptandkin.com, don't expire and can't be swapped for cash or used to buy other gift cards. Please keep your code safe: we can replace a lost card only if it hasn't been used.

9. Our responsibility to you

  • We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not using reasonable care. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable.
  • Our products are for household and private use. We aren't responsible for loss of profit or business.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
  • Our baubles are ceramic decorations, not toys. Please keep them away from young children.

10. Events outside our control

We're not responsible for delays caused by things outside our control, such as courier strikes or severe weather. If this happens, we'll tell you, and if the delay is long you can cancel for a refund of anything not yet made.

11. Your information

We use your personal information as explained in our Privacy policy.

12. Changes and the law

  • We may update these terms. The version on our website when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
  • These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
  • If you have a complaint, please contact us first and we'll do our best to put it right.
